After unboxing, install the mounting brackets and shades according to the provided installation instructions. Once properly installed, your shades are ready to use.
Lifting Mechanism
Do not tamper with or disassemble the lifting mechanism, as this may damage the shades and affect their operation.
Material & Color Variations
Natural materials may develop subtle color changes over time due to exposure to sunlight and other environmental conditions.
Slight variations between your finished shades and fabric samples are normal. Colors may also vary slightly between production batches due to differences in materials and manufacturing conditions.
Care & Cleaning
Our shades are not designed to be removed for washing. Do not machine wash or soak the shades. For routine care, gently dust the surface and follow the care instructions specific to your shade material.

Measuring Guide: How to Get the Perfect Fit
Inside Mount
What Is an Inside Mount?
An inside mount is installed neatly within the window frame, creating a clean and tailored look while allowing your window trim to remain visible. It is a lovely choice for a simple, uncluttered finish and works especially well in cozy or smaller spaces.
How to Measure
Width: Measure the inside width of the window frame in three places — top, middle, and bottom. Use the smallest measurement.
Height: Measure the inside height in three places — left, center, and right. Use the largest measurement.
A Few Things to Keep in Mind
Window Depth: For the shade to sit neatly within the frame, a minimum depth of approximately 2.5–3 inches is recommended, depending on the shade style. If your window is shallower, the shade may extend slightly beyond the frame.
Light Gaps: A small gap of approximately 1/8"–1/4" may appear along each side to allow the shade to raise and lower smoothly. For rooms where maximum light coverage is preferred, such as bedrooms, an Outside Mount may be a better choice.
Factory Deduction: Please enter the exact measurements of your window opening. We will automatically deduct 3/16" from the width during production to help ensure a smooth, comfortable fit.
Outside Mount
What Is an Outside Mount?
An outside mount is installed on the wall above the window or directly onto the window trim. It offers fuller coverage, helps reduce light around the edges, and can make your windows feel taller and more spacious. It is also a beautiful way to create a soft, finished look while covering less decorative window frames.
How to Measure
Width: Measure the full width of the area you would like the shade to cover, including the window trim if desired. Add extra width on both sides for better coverage.
Height: Measure from your preferred mounting point above the window down to where you would like the shade to end.
Recommended Overlap
Width: We recommend adding approximately 2–3 inches on each side of the window, or 4–6 inches total, for fuller coverage and less light around the edges.
Height: For a more open and airy look, we recommend mounting the shade approximately 10–12 inches above the window frame, when space allows. This gives the folded fabric room to rest above the glass when fully raised, helping you enjoy more natural light.
A Few Things to Keep in Mind
Before measuring, check for any window handles, locks, cranks, or other hardware that may extend outward. Make sure there is enough clearance for the shade to raise and lower smoothly without obstruction.
